You can head up towards the Righi hills and explore the trails of the Parco Urbano delle Mura, a vast green lung perfect for walking in nature until you reach the imposing geometries of Forte Sperone. For those who prefer the deep blue of the Ligurian Sea to greenery, the clear days of early summer are the perfect time to venture offshore by joining a whale watching excursion in the Cetacean Sanctuary, sailing alongside a biologist in search of large marine mammals.

On returning to the city, after walking along the fortified ridges or scanning the horizon from the boat's deck, the evening calls for a relaxing stop.
