Visiting Genoa: the complete guide

For the weekend of September 11-13, it's worth playing on two fronts: sea and heights. Those who love the open sea can choose between a boat to Portofino and San Fruttuoso and a day of whale watching in the Cetacean Sanctuary, with a biologist on board to tell you about what you encounter along the route. Two different ways to experience the gulf, both perfect if the weather holds.

If you prefer to stay in the city, dedicate a morning to the walking tour among the caruggi and the Palazzi dei Rolli, to discover the alleys and facades that made this part of Genoa famous. At lunch you can complete the experience with a mortar pesto cooking class, between the pestle and the final tasting. With the little ones, instead, the Genoa Aquarium remains the stop that never disappoints.
