The Latitudes of Art 2026
The seventh edition of the international Biennial "Le Latitudini dell'Arte" arrives at the Galata Museo del Mare with a fascinating exploration dedicated to France and the themes of Arts, Nomadisms and Languages. Twenty artists, ten Italian and ten French, engage with crossing, identity and contemporary mobility, inspired by the thought of philosopher Gilles Deleuze. Art becomes here a space of freedom where the visitor is invited to lose themselves among tactile intensities and visual drifts, discovering a plurality of languages that flow freely between the two shores of the Mediterranean. The experience is completed by the collateral exhibition 'Sotto il selciato c'è la spiaggia' by Angelo Pretolani at the MEI and the installation 'Mosaic on Paper' with works by 28 artists.
