A fascinating video installation dedicated to the extraordinary testimony of Spartaco Scarpellini, born in Boston to a family of Romagna anarchists, who documented his life divided between Italy and the United States through a diary filmed in 8mm from the Post-War period. This "double perspective" captures a story of emigration, returns, and unbreakable ties between two continents, with images restored and digitized by the Home Movies Foundation. A unique experience to discover how amateur cinema can tell the story of Italian emigration identity and memory.
