Gogol's masterpiece comes back to life on stage in a contemporary and pungent version, directed by Peppino Mazzotta. We follow the adventures of Pavel Ivànovic Cicikov, a fraudulent bureaucrat who hides his greed behind an affable courtesy, as he travels on an endless pilgrimage in search of social climbing. A tragicomic autopsy of humanity which, with extraordinary relevance, continues to tell us about corruption and cheaters as nothing has changed in two centuries. A fun and grotesque theatrical experience, capable of making you laugh and reflect at the same time.
