Artisanal and Artistic Practices in an Intercultural Perspective: Encounters, Clashes and Convergences

A series of virtual study days dedicated to the relationships between artistic practices and traditional knowledge in intercultural contexts. The event, promoted by Castello D'Albertis Museum of Cultures of the World and the Olga Fisch Project, explores the figure of designer and collector Olga Fisch (1901-1990), a Hungarian-Ecuadorian artist who worked with indigenous communities. A critical and global reflection on how craftsmanship, design and cultural traditions meet, clash and converge in our contemporary world.
